Nestled at 7111 Old Post Road, Wellington Green's Gramercy Court is a charming complex consisting of 16 units spread across three buildings. Each building and unit is harmoniously unified by a consistent color scheme, on exterior siding, trim, windows, front fencing, and back sliding doors, all following the same color scheme that creates a cohesive, inviting aesthetic. The privacy fencing between units further enhances the sense of continuity. The garage doors in each building are uniform in both color and style, ensuring a seamless visual experience. Additionally, all three buildings are topped with matching black Mansard shingles, contributing to the overall elegance of the complex. These design elements are to be adhered to, ensuring that no unit deviates from the established standards, preserving the architectural integrity and charm of Gramercy Court.
Interested in updating Gramercy Court: See WGHA Bylaws/Architectural & Landscape Controls/B. Exterior Architecture Specifications for the Association/#6/g. Changes to Courts Exteriors on this website for information.
*Color matching paint is currently suggested when exterior painting is needed. Architecture is in the process of adding color codes soon!
With architecture approval requested in advance the following variations in Gramercy Court are allowable.
- Owners can choose to fence in their back courtyard. Each unit was originally built with the back courtyard open to the common area.
- Each unit's front door (not trim) can be different in color.
Special circumstances with Gramercy Court:
- Garage doors in each building need to match in color. Garage doors on units 11-16 have the original wood doors painted the blue of the court. If owners in an entire building are wanting to update the garage doors to aluminum they can do so to the white aluminum garage doors, as found on units 1-10, with architecture approval in advance. All units in 11-16 will have to upgrade to the white aluminum doors within 2 years of agreement.
- All 3 buildings Mansard roofs are to be roofed in the same color and type of laminate shingle.
- No approval is needed when repairing or replacing the “liner” on a flat roof. When working on or replacing a flat roof, contact all neighbors in the same building to see if they are interested in working on/replacing at the same time. This saves money for all involved. Please have the roofing company enter from the paying owner’s unit, stay off neighboring roofs and make sure the roofers clean up and do not cause any property damage to other units.
- It's always a good idea to read through the current WGHA Bylaws, located under Association on this website, to be informed of the associations expectations.
